i always used a large suit case, there harder to move around but u can keep more stuff in them, esp suits, u don’t want to stress the wool to much cause it can unravel as far as personals go u can get ones with outside zippers compartments to hold those things (if u plan on taking them) also if u will have an income u can purchase things like t-shirt and stuff when ur there (just remember that Koreans are small people so if u have a large frame u may have to pay more for cloths. P.s. the only way i know to take a suite as a carry on is to shove it in a small bag again, not recommended. as far as transport of the suit, if u neatly pack it in a paper (like in the way they do when u buy something from ur tailor or high end retail like sacks does it, it helps protect from catching on other cloth, bottons and other things in the bag, if it is a high grade wool like 150′s+ i would invest in a suit transport case, it is made with hangers on the inside to keep the material safe, then use just one case to carry shirts, ties, shoes ext. in it, p.s. u can wear a suit during ur flight freeing up allot of bag space, but 50+50=100 pounds so u take the same amount no matter witch one u pick, i just recommend the case for the protection of your suits.
