Recommended luxury hotel/resort in Jamaica?
1st trip to Jamaica in August and I need help selecting a luxury hotel or resort. I am looking for a Hotel that is very attentive and well kept (pictures can be deceiving).
Based on the comments read: Negril, Ochos Rio, or Mon Bay are all quite different. Seeking advice from someone that has been previously.
I always use tripadvisor.com to check out hotels whereever I go- and we went to Jamaica just last month. They have a forum where you can ask questions about specific hotels, and also contact people directly who stayed in a particular place. We stayed in the Grand Palladium Hotel resort and loved it- not sure what you call luxory, but the rooms compare to the best rooms in Vegas, and the resort itself was fantastic. Wonderful giant pool, other pools too, and a great beach and water sports area. They keep it looking great, full of workers working everywhere. We had an early flight, left at 5:30 and there were guys out working on the grounds in the dark!
