Boulder City Navada apartment search?

I’m a 22 recent college graduate thinking of moving to Las Vegas to start a career in the hotel industry. I noticed a lot of great places to live in Henderson but was wondering what type of area Boulder City is. From the photos I have seen it looked pretty nice and small time like. Does anyone know what Boulder City is really like? And if it’s a great place for a young guy looking to start a career in Las Vegas?

Boulder city is beautiful!!!! I love it out there. There isn’t much out there though and doesn’t have the city feel to it. I live in Las Vegas and Boulder city is a beautiful escape from the glitz and glamour of the strip. Boulder is also a lot cheaper than the city and Henderson. And I mean A LOT cheaper. You can find rooms to rent and even some apartments on Craigslist. Forrent.com, apartmentguide.com, and lasvegasreviewjournal.com are also places to look.

The only downside to Boulder is its anywhere from 30-45 minutes away from the city. Driving in the morning to work would be a bit of a pain. People that live in Boulder TYPICALLY are Nevada natives. You will find very little locals in Las Vegas.
Henderson is great. If you want a mix of the city life and some real life I would consider Henderson.
You will do great here career wise. It doesn’t matter where you live. As I said be aware of the distance…if it doesn’t matter to you to drive a bit then Boulder City would work great.
