What are some things that would go in a “camping essentials kit”?
My close friend has never been camping, and we are going to go camping together with our families. I want to make her a “camping essentials kit” for her birthday including all the great camping things like s’mores supplies, camp-style jiffy pop, etc. What else should I include? They can be funny or useful. Thanks
Some useful items are waterproof matches so you can light a fire in the rain or damp conditions, they actually make contraptions that you can use to make s’mores with so it is easier over a fire, first aid (antibiotic cream like Neosporin, band-aids, ibuprofen, ice packs that you break to activate, ace bandage, etc.), moist towlette packs to clean up on the go, sun block (depending on where you are going), if you are hiking throw a cheap compass in the kit with a map of where you will be hiking.
